1 - Every good amplifier gives its best after about 10 minutes. Since Moby Dick is a class A, don`t leave it on for hours before you start playing! It's not necessary. Actually you will only unnecessarily wear out the final tubes.

2 - I only added the master volume in the circuit to "clean" the final saturation (especially with the "top boost"). If you want to hear Moby Dick's fantastic dynamics, like the old amps with the same power, always keep it open and control the volume with the gain.

3 - When you use the "top boost" switches, the treble knob is needed to regulate the middle. The treble is set so watch out for your ears!!!

4 - When you add the reverb you will hear a slight lowering of the volume. Don't worry, it's normal. On the contrary, when you take it out the gain goes up avoiding that unpleasant sensation that is characteristic to almost all amps.
